About

‘We believe in timeless, considered design which celebrates individuality.’

Taylor & Turner is a London based, luxury residential design practice established in 2017 by Anneke Gilkes and Harriette Cayzer.

With a key focus on the private residential market, Anneke and Harriette offer a focused, honest and straight forward approach, delivering elegant homes that are a joy to live in.

We take a fresh, positive and hands-on attitude to our projects and are proud that the majority of our business is by referral.

Anneke Gilkes

Anneke found a passion for inspirational design through five years working with luxury bespoke interiors brand de Gournay, as well as two years with the inimitable interior designer Alidad. This passion was turned into a career when Anneke chose to study at the prestigious Inchbald School of Design. Subsequently she has worked on homes in the UK and abroad, and strives to create spaces which have an understated and classic feel with a contemporary and unique edge to them, always reflecting the personality of those who live there and the soul of the building itself.

When not ‘at work’ Anneke can be found rising early to rummage through antiques markets, or visiting inspirational homes, hotels and venues throughout the UK, and abroad; always striving to further her design education and to be inspired.

Harriette Cayzer

Harriette’s love for textiles, colour and form reflects her early career in the fashion industry. After graduating from University of the Arts London, Harriette trained and worked under leading designer Emily Todhunter at Todhunter Earle for six years before joining the distinctive interiors team at Finchatton for a further two years, working on large scale developments and private residences.

Harriette is heavily influenced by art and design, a dedication that she channels through the creation of unique and thoughtful interiors. She believes a home is created by attention to the smallest details, the finest craftsmanship and constant awareness and discovery of design history and current innovation.
