Revitalising a family home, this period five bedroom property had existed as a family home for over thirty years, where the clients had raised their four sons. The couple wanted to preserve their happy memories that were created in the house but felt they also wanted to take back ownership of the property now their adult children had moved out, and breathe fresh life into the space. They wanted to ensure that the existing feel of the house was retained, but also evolved and updated so it felt relevant to this new stage of their lives.
We re-designed the ground floor layout entirely to open up the house and let as much light through the house as possible, allowing the space to feel fresh and airy from the  moment you step through the front door. Existing furniture was retained and reupholstered with bold fabrics, and mixed with newly sourced artwork and antiques.
